Beginner (Level 1): Has trouble swimming freestyle for more than a few lengths of the pool at a time. Stops for a break at the end of each lap. Has trouble with breathing, treading water or submerging the head. Has not had much formal swim instruction.  May have done a few sprint triathlons or short swim races, but is intimidated about swimming longer. This class will be geared towards beginners and focus mostly on technique and stroke efficiency.

Intermediate (Level 2): Intermediate – Can swim continuous freestyle for at least 100 meters. Can tread water and submerge comfortably. May not have great stroke or technique, but can swim continuously for 30 min. May or may not have had previous instruction. This class will include a mix of drills and continuous swimming, including a lot of personalized instruction and stroke technique.  This class is designed for athletes who are a bit more comfortable in the water, but seeking instruction to help build a strong foundation for the season.

*We need a minimum of 6 swimmers per class to run the program. Each class is capped at 12 swimmers. If we do not have enough swimmers to run the program, you will be issued a refund and notified of alternative swim options that may be a different price or location. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or discounts for missed classes.  Member price is available for current annual tri club members only.  Full program only – No-Drop ins or make ups.  All refunds exclude Paypal fees.

We will send an email with details about where to meet and what to bing before your first session.  Please plan to arrive at least 15 min before each class so that you can use the locker rooms, check in with your coach and be ready to jump in the pool on time!
