You are invited to attend Empire Tri Club’s Triathlon Training Camp in Steamboat, Colorado!

Thursday, July 31 – Sunday, August 3rd

Explore northern Colorado’s Yampa Valley – home to the Howelsen Hill ski area, the Steamboat ski resort and Stagecoach Reservoir.  At 7,000 feet above sea level, athletes will have the opportunity to train at high altitude as you explore the great rocky mountains and rural farmlands of the old west.  Whether you’re preparing for a triathlon or simply want to enjoy training in a beautiful destination, athletes will have the opportunity to get in as much or little training as desired.   Additionally, we will provide you with all the guidance you need to explore local culture and cuisine!

Trip includes:

4 days of training in beautiful, sunny Steamboat, Colorado
Workout nutrition & snacks
2 team dinners at the Red Door Farm (welcome & farewell dinners on 7/31 and 8/3)
Opportunity to participate in the Stagecoach Reservoir Gravel Triathlon or Emerald Epic Trail Running Race (Marathon / Half Marathon / 10k)
4 days of training & organized group activities including:
    – open water swimming at Stagecoach Reservoir
    – scenic bike rides through beautiful farms & mountain towns
    – runs on scenic running trails through aspen trees
    – Opportunity to ride on gravel / MTB

    – stretch / recovery sessions

Description

Empire Tri Club invites you to attend our 4 day, 3 night triathlon training camp on the beautiful mountain town of Steamboat, Colorado (Thursday – Sunday).  This incredible weekend includes organized group open water swims, scenic bike rides & runs, brick workouts, stretch sessions and more.   In addition to training, we’ll offer team-bonding and leisure activities including group meals, shopping, paddle boarding, a rodeo, and bon fires.

We will accommodate any athlete with special dietary needs upon request.  (vegetarian, gluten free, etc.).  Itinerary subject to change.  Distances vary based on ability and interest of attendees.  Athletes will have the opportunity to get in as much or as little training as desired.  No discounts given for partial stay. We will be offering additional services including bike build and shop referrals for bike rentals.
