Tis’ the season!!

Combine the holidays with biking, cookies and friends, and what do you get? The most festive ride of the year!
Dust off your bike, pump your tires, and decorate it with tinsel, lights and bows.  Please join us as we ride through the streets of New York, spreading holiday cheer, all while supporting The Billy Davis Foundation.
Attire: Every rider is encouraged to dress in a full SANTA SUIT! (we go ALL OUT- not just a hat, not something that sort of resembles Santa, but a full, head-to-toe Santa costume). All faiths welcome- feel free to modify your Santa suit!
Supporting a good cause:  All proceeds from this ride will go directly to The Billy Davis Foundation (www.TheBillyDavisFoundation.com), set up by Empire Tri Club member Billy Davis. The Billy Davis Foundation is all about supporting people with limb difference and the organizations that improve their quality of life. The BDF was formed shortly after Billy lost his leg and has since supported organizations like Wiggle Your Toes, Achilles, ASPIRE, DEMSL, and LimbKind. Billy is also on the board of two of these orgs and an amputee mentor for another. In an effort to turn tragedy Tinto triumph, Billy hosts an annual fundraiser called CheeseBurger Day. It’s held on or around May 24th every year – the anniversary of the day he woke up after being in a coma for 5 days after the accident that took his leg (and almost his life!) Billy is traveling with Limbkind in Nov to Ethiopia and again next year to either Kenya or Sri Lanka to help people with limb differences.
Donate: We suggest a donation of $20 to participate in the ride, but will accept any amount greater or smaller that you are able to give. Please consider making a donation even if you are unable to attend the ride. Our goal is to raise $3000.  Empire Tri Club will match all donations up to $1500!

Paypal: Send your donation to info@empiretriclub.com.
Venmo: @Alison-Kreideweis (Please include Billy Davis Foundation in the comments)

Join us at the start of the ride to take pictures and send us off, or plan to watch us somewhere along the route! This will be the most fun ride of the year, so come with lots of warm clothes and holiday cheer!
