The Empire Tri Club started the season strong at the Jackrabbit Jerseyman sprint triathlon this year. The weather was perfect, despite predictions of rain earlier in the week. A calm lake swim started the day, followed by a 17 mile bike on beautiful rolling hills. The course concluded with a 3.1 mile run through scenic trails and a marina.
