You are invited to attend Empire Tri Club’s 12th Annal Triathlon Training Camp on Martha’s Vineyard

Thursday, August 28 – Monday, September 1st – Labor Day Weekend 

Empire Tri Club invites you to attend our 5 day, 4 night triathlon training camp on the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard, (Thursday – Monday).  This incredible weekend includes 5 days packed with organized group training, including open water swimming, scenic bike rides & runs, brick workouts, strength training and more.   In addition to training, the camp offers team-bonding, leisure activities including group meals, shopping, paddle boarding, kayaking, ping pong, corn hole, bocce ball, horseshoes, nature hikes, and bon fires.

The camp includes ALL your lodging, food, training, on-island transportation and leisure activities (including our infamous rides to  the MV brewery and Aquinnah Lighthouse!).  Whether you’re training for a Sprint or Ironman, athletes will have the opportunity to get in as much or little training as desired and we’ll provide you with all the guidance you need if you plan to do something outside of the group’s planned activities.

*This camp is in extremely high demand and there is limited capacity in the house.  Accommodations includes a bunk room (6 beds – 3 queen, 3 singles), loft (2 single beds), and 3 bedrooms (1 queen bed in each).   There is a $50 cancellation fee if you cancel by Aug 15. After Aug 15, no refunds will be given. 
If you wish to stay at your own accommodations, we will reduce the camp price by $150.  We will accommodate any athlete with special dietary needs upon request.  (vegetarian, gluten free, etc.).  Itinerary subject to change.  Distances vary based on ability and interest of attendees.  Athletes will have the opportunity to get in as much or as little training as desired.  No discounts given for partial stay.

Description

Trip includes:

5 day, 4 night stay in a beautiful waterfront home 3 miles from town
All on-island transportation (including airport or ferry terminal transportation at arrival and departure)
All meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and workout nutrition throughout your stay
5 days of training & organized group activities (2-3 workouts per day) including:
    – unlimited open water swimming in a the ocean & salt-water tidal pond 100m from the house (including kayak / boat support for open water swims)
    – scenic bike rides along beautiful farms, beaches and quaint New England towns (including SAG support)
    – runs on traffic-free bike paths & running trails
    – daily stretch / recovery sessions and use of TP balls, foam rollers, bands, BOSU, strength equipment, etc.)
    – coached brick workout / transition clinic (including time saving tips for beginner – elite athletes)
Unlimited access to recreational equipment including paddle boards, kayaks, cruiser bikes, ping pong, corn hole, bocce ball, horseshoes, TRX, and more.
