The best way to get started in triathlon! Empire Tri Club’s beginner program is designed for newcomers who want expert coaching, a supportive community, and a fun, confidence-building introduction to the sport. Our experienced coaches and ambassadors bring decades of knowledge—and a genuine passion for welcoming new athletes. From day one, you’ll be part of a like-minded team that trains together, supports each other, and builds lasting friendships on and off the race course. We’re here to guide, encourage, and coach you every step of the way.

Workout details are included in Training Peaks. Group workouts last about 1 hour and include a warm up, main set and cool down. Workouts include a lesson, group discussion and structured workout including hills, speed, tempo, drills, hills and benchmark tests. Pace groups are formed and all abilities are welcome. Athletes are encouraged to coordinate meet-ups outside of coach-led sessions using our team app for all posted sessions.
