Speciality

Triathlon, Ultra Marathons

Mimi’s journey into triathlon began in an unexpected way. She used to train in mixed martial arts but started swimming casually after multiple injuries to stay in shape. But her dream of completing a triathlon had been with her since childhood, ever since she first watched the sport in the Olympics. She was in awe of the sport - but also extremely intimidated, especially by the long run. In 2021, she finally took the leap and signed up for her first race. After completing her second self-trained triathlon at the NYC Triathlon in 2022, she was hooked and joined a triathlon community to take the sport more seriously. Since then, Mimi has completed one sprint, three Olympics, six Half Ironmans, two full Ironmans, and two ultramarathons (50 miles and 100k).

A dedicated vegan, Mimi’s plant-based lifestyle aligns with her love for animals and the environment while also boosting her endurance. She credits her diet for providing sustained energy and faster recovery, helping her push her limits. Known for her infectious enthusiasm, two years in a row Mimi was voted "The Bad Influence of the Year" for convincing fellow athletes to sign up for races. Her coaching philosophy is simple: she sees strength in others before they see it in themselves. Outside of triathlon, Mimi enjoys volunteering at a farm sanctuary, fostering shelter cats, drawing and cooking.

Mightyman Montauk Triathlon was by far the hardest and most rewarding thing I’ve ever done and I couldn’t be happier to have done it! The Empire Beginner Program comes with a group of incredible coaches to help guide and push you as well as a group of people who are in the same boat you are."
