Empire Tri Club is excited to welcome the Verizon New York City Triathlon race director for an exciting race-week event.  Bill Burke, 20 year veteran race director for the NYC Triathlon, will be leading a walk-through/Q&A, along with several Empire Tri Club coaches who have over a decade of experience racing, volunteering, guiding and spectating at the race.  At 6:30pm, we will begin our briefing starting at the NYC Triathlon Transition area (soccer fields at Riverside Park and W 103rd Street).   Bill will answer questions about the new course, packet pick up, expo, bike check in, new COVID & finish line protocols, spectator information, weather / safety information, and provide tips to have your best race!  We will also talk about recovery services at the NYU Langone Sports Performance Center and how they can help you stay healthy, perform at your best and recover optimally.
